As expected, Bodø/Glimt were to be the first real test for Ham-Kam this season. Glimt proved that they will be one of Ham-Kam's strongest competitors in the race for promotion. Ham-Kam performed on average, and Bodø/Glimt were to strong this Saturday afternoon.
It started badly for Ham-Kam, as they were one goal down after only 3 minutes. Trond Olsen stole the ball from a hesitating Juha Pasoja, and showed the spectators that he would be a player to look out for in this match.
After 15 minutes Ham-Kam had the opportunity to equalize, when the referee correctly awarded the hosts a penalty kick after spotting handball in the guests' defence. However, Espen Olsen could not end his 9-game goalless spell. Allthough the penalty kick was not well performed, Jonas Ueland Kolstad should be credited for saving.
An aggressive Ham-Kam team entered the grass after the break. It paid off when Jan Michaelsen was brought down and the referee gave Kamma a new opportunity to score from 11 metres. After a little discussion between David Mannix and Juha Pasoja, the latter levelled out Glimt's lead.
Strangely enough, Ham-Kam seemed to settle with 1-1 for a while, thus giving Glimt a chance to get back into the game. Runar Berg scored a beautiful goal, and once again brought the guests ahead.
1-3 came was a result of a break down.Ham-Kam back John Anders Rise was unlucky, and Bodø/Glimt for the first time in the match, managed to advance on the wing. A nice header from Trond Olsen made it his second and Bodø/Glimt's third.
Ham-Kam pushed back immidiately after the goal, and lead by a very good Tommy Øren and an Olawasegun Abiodun aching to play, Ham-Kam got a little closer when Øren scored Ham-Kam second goal with a striking header served by a good Rise corner-kick.
In spite of a massive green and white attack, Bodø/Glimt manage to bring all three points back to Nordland. They are now second, two points behind Molde and one point ahead of Ham-Kam.
