Wednesday noon it was clear: Frode Grodås is leaving Ham-Kam. The hunt for his successor has already began.

The Ham-Kam board and coach Frode Grodås has agreed to go separate ways.

After Sunday's relegation to the "Adeccoligaen", Norwegian football's level two, speculations on Frode Grodås' future was bound to begin. The evaluation of the season started Monday, and the players as well as  others implicated, had their say.

Tuesday, the board was gathered for 4 1/2 hours without any further statement being made by chairman Truls Haakonsen, except they were getting closer to a solution. 

Wednesday noon came the statement that Frode Grodås and Ham-Kam had agreed to terminate their professional relations. Lars Tjærnås, however, continues in his job as the sports director of the club.

Truls Haakonsen has confirmed that he has contacted a potential Grodås-successor, and that a new coach will be official before December 5th, when the players return from their holidays.
