Odd Grenland (3-4-1-2):
Rune A. Jarstein - Trond Viggo Thoresen, Pelle Nilsson, Nat Borchers - Espen Ruud, Jacob Sørensen (Tuomo Könönen from 64.), Jan Tore Amundsen, Tommy Svindal Larsen - Ali Gerba (Chris Joyce from 64.) - Tarjei Dale, Olof Hvidèn-Watson.

Kamma's new Danish central midfield showed the guests from the very beginning that not only Norwegians are vikings. Morten Bertolt's debut was satisfactory, but also proved that he needs time to adjust to Tippeligaen.

After only 4 mins, full back Vegard Bjerke served Espen Olsen a crosser from Ham-Kam's right. Little big man Espen Olsen challenged Odd-goalie Jarstein with a header. Jarstein couldn't control the ball, and Markus Ringberg scored after what seemed like a battle, two metres from the goal-line.

Ten minutes later, it was 2-0 for the hosts. Espen Olsen received the ball from Jan Michaelsen, who obviously wanted the ball back. However, Olsen smelled goal, and kicked the ball like he hated it more than Sunday mornings. A brilliant goal!

A surprisingly spineless Odd had one of their few goal attempts after 18 mins. Espen Ruud shot from the corner of Ham-Kam's 16 metre line, but Ivar Rønningen deflected the ball to a resultless corner. For the next ten minutes, the match was to a large extend a struggle for control of the midfield. Then, Espen Olsen proved his presence again by hitting the upper post. Once again, a nice effort, from the lightfooted team in green and white. First half ended with Ringberg putting up Olsen with an excellent break-through pass, which Olsen unfortunately shot wide.

Ham-Kam was in control most of the second half, as well. Still, Odd manage to create a goal effort when Joyce tested Ham-Kam keeper Ivar Rønningen. Rønningen fisted the ball over.

Ten minutes before the end, one of ham-Kam's best, Espen Olsen, was replaced by Roman Kienast. The Austrian showed coach Grodås that he wants a place in the starting line-up. Kienast got the ball back from Ringberg and placed the ball behind Jarstein and into the net. 3-0!
