Ham-Kam`s main goal this match would be to prevent Molde from taking three points, and thus keeping them behind on the league table. Molde were desperate for a victory, something that made many Ham-Kam fans fear this match.
Molde attacked consequently on Ham-Kam`s right-hand side, but a good Kamma full-back, Vegard Bjerke tamed the Molde attack. Still, one of Molde`s attacks from Ham-Kam`s right was the one that would end in a goal for the hosts, much thanks to Ham-Kam goalie, Ivar Rønningen, who somehow managed to drop the ball, in what seemed to be an easy situation. Magne Hoseth took advantage of the situation, and gave Molde a 1-0 lead.
Then, early in the second half, Marius Gullerud struck back, to give Ham-Kam the equalizer. A brilliant free-kick from Ramiro Corrales hit the post, but Marius Gullerud was where he should be when the ball returned, and scored.
A draw seemed to be a fair result, but a much better result for Ham-Kam than for Molde.
Next Sunday, Brann awaits at Brann stadion in Bergen.
