David Mannix impressed while training with Ham-Kam on Børstad today. As far as Briskebybanden.com knows, Mannix and his agent are in talks with Ham-Kam.

The 21-year old is a cetral midfielder, and has for years been recognized as a big talent, and has often been mentioned together with Steven Gerrard. Unfortunately a serious knee-injury and a broken ancle has temporarily stopped him from developing during the last years, according to liverpool.no.

Mannix has won several caps for England's under age teams, and has been a dominant player for Liverpool's reserves. He is known to have a sensitive right foot, a good eye for the game, and he doesn't stand back for a tackle.

The young midfielder's interest for Ham-Kam started when a Hamar local, Allan Aasterud via Mannix' agent Frank Sharps, told Mannix about Hamar and the club. Yesterday, David arrived in Hamar, and participated in the club's training session today. His performance was excellent, and he is most likely in talks with the club this afternon, Thursday 18th. A decision is nt far away, as the English transfer window closes on January 31st.

In addition to Ham-Kam, 10-12 clubs, many of them from The Championship, are interested in signing the player.
